VIPKID Chronicles: 3 Months Later!

Who would have thought my New Year resolution would be to schedule as many “virtual games” every morning before American school kids even brush their teeth in the morning?

It's already been almost 3 full months, and I certainly don't feel like working with VIPKID is a job; more like a favorite pastime!  As an actress, my theatrics naturally come alive with every new student I meet! I get to reinvent my character each day, class even! This certainly keeps the students pinned to the screen from the start to finish. Learning styles are vast, and I'm committed to having fun in my virtual classroom!

Every day is also "bring your pet to work day", for me! The kids love seeing my dogs tilt their head in curiosity as we speak English. In addition, I always have my orange Monkey Pal by my side to remind my new students that it's okay to make mistakes, as long as you're learning!

Being able to do cool stuff in the virtual VIPKID classroom like shoot darts, sing songs, gather fruit and earn real gifts sent to the home is pretty awesome! Teaching English with VIPKID is honorable.

It’s amazing how in touch and responsive headquarters is with their staff, even though they are located in Beijing! I admit the time difference was bit intimidating at first, but you almost feel like they are on call, with their quick turn around in response time. Oh, did I mention, the Facebook and Skype community of teachers all around the world means that there is always someone available who is going through what you’re going thru as you prepare/teach lessons. VIPKID is truly a V.I.P. experience that you won’t regret!
